How to be a succesful freelancer... cont..

The freelancer is a platform where freelance employees and employers can meet.

Well I told you how to set up a new account in my last post. After you set up your account you are eligible to bid on projects.

Follow these steps to bid on a project.

1.       Go to" browse project".

2.       There are few subcategories in this section.

3.       Select any subcategory you desire. Mine are “browse categories” and “ “my skills.”

4.       From any of these options you can choose a job as you desire.

5.       Click on the job.

6.       A description about the job will appear.

7.       Read it very carefully. Do not bid on it unless you can complete it successfully. Unfinished jobs will add bad reputations to your account.

8.       Never bid on projects posted by unverified users.

9.       Hourly projects are better. If you are selected to a fixed price project, a 10% fee will be deducted from your account. Even if you have no balance, the fee will be taken.

Ex:-project fee = $40

Deduction = $4.

Your balance = $0

Your balance after you are selected to the project = (-$4).

10.   If you are confident about the project press “bid on this project “ button.

11.   You will see a application. Fill in the application thoroughly. “bid detils” section is important. Follow the instruction and introduce youself and your skills properly. It is like a covering letter.

12.   Also tick “Also send a private message to the project Employer.” And send one. It should be more detailed. You can add a sample work their.

13.   Press “place bid” button.

14.   Now use your bids carefully and wait till results to come. Visit freelancer.com frequently and also check emails. Freelancer will alert you with a email about the projects highlights via emails.

And you can always use freelancer "help" section to solve any problem. It is unique and very helpful and excillent.Always reply and reply within very short period of time.

step 2.
You will have to work on your profile. Complete the profile. It is very important. Most of the eployers are interested about the facts in your profile.

step3.
Complete your portopolio too.Add some sample works their.

step 4.
Add skills. This step is crucial. You are allowed to bet only on jobs which are belonged to these skill categories.

step 5
As a new commer (free member) you shall get 10 chances to bet on projects. So use your brain to choose the best possible jobs to bet.
